With a starting price of $35,700 the Trail Edition should be badass.

they're never at that price. If it was I wouldve got one. WHen I was shopping for my FJ I saw a 4runner at 48k. Of course it had some of the more premium stuff but good god, 50k for an SUV?

Around Vegas, they are $40,000. They are built, but the ground clearance at the front bumper is lower than both the Taco and the FJC. It has a pull out shelf in the back for "tailgating," has adjustable uphill/downhill assist (has a dial for each on the overhead console), locking rear diff, ATRAC, moon roof, FJC seats, and a manual 4 wheel drive selector (it has a stick instead of the dial). Drives fantastic, but wouldn't want to take it off-road right away at the price they are asking. I have also seen them sit on the dealer's lots for several months. Would like to get one if I didn't have the Taco.

Try vehicle shopping in Canada, it's crazy. The fully loaded 4Runner is like 55-60k. My Tacoma up here cost not much less than that 48k price tag lol

x2 that thing is made to wheel. All the offroad controls may be a bit confusing at first though, would have to figure that out first.
