Also for you guys, we are probably going to do a Mojave run around March. so start planning now for that month no date yet. get ur money, tell ur wives and signifigant others that you will be gone for two days (optional second day if you want to do powerline back. its pre runner friendly. but you should have a decent set of tires and a radio. So plan now.

Dont talk about it come on out or go with other people who go out. Dont be intimidated by LT trucks. We all only go as fast as the slowest truck. its a lot of fun, good food and great to meet new peeps.

Day 1
Afton Canyon
Mojave road
Salt flats
Mailbox
Camp at hole in the wall.
Night run depending on condition of trucks

Day 2
Lunch at Wild bills (Stateline)
Tenative on Power line as to condition of trucks
But If all is good the run back to Harvard rd (Barstow)
on Power Line. thats

Ya dont be intimidated by the LT trucks. They usually break down and hold up the rest of the group. Hahaha. JK. It's a great time and if someone breaks down everyone will jump in to help. James - let me know when you start planning a date. You guys know Im always down to go.

 

I know huh. My truck was bad.. luckily Mike had that bolt and then the flat. hahaha. all fun and games. im thinking the weekend after the 15th. so March 19th and 20th.

we'll work it out.

 

im in if its open. i just went up there thanks giving weekend and it was closed.

 

its probably gonna be open, and the trail is a fun run for those who havent been. Are you guys doing the OC to Corona trip?

 

I hope it opens on Saturday......Are coming to lead the way?

Just called the ranger station and verified the park is currently open. Not sure who's all in but the meeting spot is at the Chevron station 9am and we roll out at 9:15. Chime in if you're going that way we can get an idea on how many we have in the group. Lets do this!
