Okay that's good to know. I'm really curious of how these straps and cam buckle holds up years from now.

I had one on my FJ for 3+ years without issue. And every was fine, just a little crusty, when I pulled it off to sell prior to selling the FJ. If it's holds up to 3+ years in New England salt and chemicals it's pretty damn good.

One of my metal brackets corroded and broke and he sent me a new one to replace it. Not sure why just one did that but the rest have been good. Lots of water, mud, snow, abuse.

I’m sure this has been answered but 34 pages is a lot of scrolling...does this fit on a third gen? Thanks!

Hey Nathan, I broke one of the smaller brackets from my skid. Is there a way to buy another from you? Not the one with the hook

Did you see my email? I'll send another with a link to where you can buy the bracket.

Definitely agree with you. No more worrying about a steel skid rusting out the gas tank skid

I really need to put mine back on Smokey. I thought with the 42's I'd be high enough, but I have several new gouges in the tank. Woops

So in the first pic it's just being held by gunk and sheer force of will?

It's held on the two most forward bolts and bracket that sandwiches the frame crossmember
