must have been the filler neck and fuel lines lol. i'm also guessing it wasnt full of fuel

one of the things i like most about Nathan's skid, is that you dont take the original gas tank straps off completely. You just go over top of them.

Found out that the filler neck hose came off the neck tubing REAL quick after I installed the new tank straps and went to fill up..

Typical, right? I took it off when I built her and never put it back on.

My next step with the build will most likely be some weight loss. The bed, toolbox, rear frame, stock gas tank, etc are going to go away. So might as well leave the skid off. lol

@SMKYTXN any concern with the skids being short?

No. By the time you get to the end of the skid you're into the axle.

I’m planning on hanging out and wheeling with everyone this year and skipping the booth setup. So I won’t have inventory with me.

If you want to order the skid right before Jambo and have me bring it up, I can do that. Just let me know so I can invoice you to avoid shipping charges.

Maybe I missed the answer reading through the thread but blue is only in stock for DCSB. Any plans on black or red coming up?

Blue is the only option right now as that's what I have blanks of. My waterjet guy is out of town, so give me a week or two before I'm restocked on the DCSB models.

Are these backordered for DCSB/ACLB? Site seems to show them available, but once in the cart, shows backordered.

Honestly, can't wait to get this on. My truck had no semblance of a skid and my tank has a couple deep gouges and tons of lighter ones. I imagine our tanks are pretty thick, but that's a chance I don't wanna take anymore as I get more ballsy and wanna challenge myself.
