Consider being on the right side of the left coast. Bearing Buddy's are the best.

I used spacers on my trailer for two reasons.
The Toyota wheels are hub centric and the trailer hub is lug centric, the spacers are lug centric to the trailer and hub centric to the wheel.
The Toyota wheels also have a lot of backspacing, trailer hubs are built for no backspacing, the spacers make the wheels centered on the hubs like a trailer wheel would be and I can use Toyota lug nuts and center caps.
The wheels and tires weigh 75 lbs each, I think that is a lot of rolling weight to not be centered and true.
I know, I probably over think things.

Don't you think using a shank lug nut will keep the wheel centered?

My hub fit fine with my wheels, I didn't have to use spacers.

I used Spidertrax Offroad Wheel Spacers that are 1.250 wide, this brings the Toyota wheels I am using to no off-set. I started off installing Toyota studs into my trailer hubs and used stock Tacoma lug nuts. My trailer pulls smoother with the spacers.

I'm a little confused here don't the spacers already have Toyota sized studs 14x1.5
I didn't know that knurl on the Toyota lug studs fit into trailer hubs ?

Sorry, before I installed the spacers I installed the studs so I could use the Toyota lug nuts. I pressed the trailer studs out and went to the auto parts store and matched up the trailer stud knurls with 14 x 1.5 studs from Dorman. Yes, the spacers have studs for Toyota.

    OP, @Grand dude and @Toyanvil

What lug nuts did you use? I assume your trailer axles have 1/2 x 20 studs and the factory lug nuts are 12 x 1.5.

Did you press out the studs for 12mm's? or change the lug nuts to 1/2"?

I have a trailer with Jeep 5x4.5 rims and want to swap them to 6x5.5 and TRD Pro rims like yours.

    Thanks in advance!

Nice job on the trailer! I did not use the nuts that came with the axle. I did have to get lug nut that are made for the aluminum wheels. I believe I had to order some that were shallower than the Tacoma lug nuts. I'll have to double check. My axle is a 6 lug. Looks like yours is a 5 lug. That may be the difference.

What do you use for a rear jack stand? I don’t see on in the pics.

    Thx.

At the moment, I do not use any Jack stands. I debated on it. I feel a lot safer being connected to my truck. I have noticed that there isn't any movement (up or down) with the trailer while being connected with the pintle. As for now, I think I'll leave them off.
