I thought I'd share photo's of the transmission cooler install I completed.
    2003 Tacoma 2WD. 2.4 Ltr.
The transmission cooler is from www.etrailer.com part #D13503.
I didn't want to add any more heat to the existing radiator & A/C.
I found a spot in the air flow below the bumper. The top of the cooler is behind the bumper, but still should get air movement. I don't do a lot of towing anyway. This is just to keep transmission temps down , adding to longevity.
Photo #1 The mounting location at the base of the radiator.
Photo#2. An aluminum bar with speed clips attached. This will fit behind the "blind" lower mounting radiator support. (new holes drilled on trans cooler frame)
Photo #3. The aluminum bar in position. I ran the bolts in just to make sure it would line up. ( a small section of wire helps guide it in position. Loosening the A/C condenser helped too.)
    Photo #4 & #5. Installed.
Tip....(I forgot this myself.) Fill the trans cooler off car to find out volume of A/T Fluid.
After installation, just add the volume to transmission.
