2023 Tacoma Double Cab Short Box Off Road Premium

I thought I'd check the transfer case breather. Does anybody else check it as part of routine maintenance? The reason I ask is that it is really hard to get at. I was unable to see it or feel it from the engine bay, and the following post suggests reaching from beneath the vehicle to get at it:
