    Thanks for posting the updated TSB. They figured this out part way through the 2010 model year so a good part of that year's production is affected as well as the 2009. The reflash works perfectly, and I now have zero complaints about the shifting. They can do the sudden acceleration reflash at the same time, which also works perfectly. It allows simultaneous application of power and brake, and only intervenes if the accelerator is floored or very close to it and the brakes applied at the same time. They did both of these fixes right.

    I have a 2009 access cab 4 cyl automatic.the tsb appears to be for v6.I am having the same problem.Hear anything for the 4 cyl

    I had my 09 4-cyl. updated. It made a huge difference... especially when using cruise. It no longer down shifts and red lines just to increase 1 mph.

    Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .
    I need to get this TSB done soon ... cause I baby it when it shifts in slow corners.

    I just do not want the dealer to "hack saw" my gas pedal when they do the transmission shift TSB. ... :eek:

    I made them replace my pedal. You can also refuse them modifying the pedal.
