Going to CO end of September and looking for a good tripod that is less than $100. I've seen some on Amazon but wondering if anyone has some real world experience with any. Camera is Olympus OM-D E- M10 III

Like my Sirui (carbon fiber, etc). They do make a travel series T-OS with a ball head for about $129.00. Also look into something like a FotoPro UFO2.

Light, strong, cheap - pick 2. I've watched so many photographer's trips be severely hampered by poor quality tripods, including a few of my own early on, because they were not up to the task of holding the camera steady in adverse conditions, or even moderate conditions in low light. My current travel setup is the MeFoto Globetrotter Carbon. I'd consider it 'mid-range' for travel setups and hasn't let me down. My main setup is an Induro 304 series.
