Alright 2nd Gen Tacoma owners- the title says it all: How are you using this tray to the right of the shifter bezel? As someone who's owned my tacoma for almost 12 years I thought about this and honestly it's been for the most part a wasted little rectangular groove that is seemingly too small to hold anything not wider than say an apple tv remote. Sure it's been a catch all for pens, coins, McDonald's monopoly tabs, etc. But overall, it seems to be a pretty poor piece of real estate that I wish we could find a way to make better use of. Thus my starting of this poll to see how other TacomaWorld members are using this precious gift that Toyota bestowed upon us! I saw a member was once creating 3D printed phone mounts in this area which seem to have stopped production in 2017. Others put their CB radios there or garage openers.

Just want to get the dialogue going to see how all the Smart creative Taco owners are using this space. I'm sure there are some nifty ideas out there that we would all like to know! In case you're wondering what is this guy talking about, please see the pic below with the area circled in red. Thanks guys - again, I searched a good bit and for some reason today I felt the need to start up a discussion on this and try and get some ideas going!

Mine holds my wallet when I’m driving. Mainly because I don’t like sitting on it and it’s easier to get to it when needed.
