Not yet I've honestly been more worried about the URD 7th injector getting me in trouble since that's completely non CARB lol. I got by with it last time but this year I have the STAR test which is once every 4 years, and supposed to be more strict and thorough.

I'll reach out to TRD though and see what they say before I do the test, maybe they can send me something I can use to clear things up if need be

I can’t imagine that some retard in the timing map would be detectable. So just set overpressure to max boost so it won’t change closed loop.

Then remove the 7th injector fuel line and cap it off.

I wouldn’t think that would fail.

    EDIT: spelling.

They'll tell you it's too early if a model to sell stickers for and they'll refer you to a PDF on the carb website that is supposed to be all you need to pass smog - what they told me about getting a sticker for my sc. Sticker seems like a cheap way to make sure you can pass almost anywhere w/o hassle imo.

The smog tech wouldn't accept the CARB Executive Order pdf file when I tried to show it to him in place of a sticker. And neither would the CARB smog referee. It's ridiculous, it makes no sense and it's bs. But they wouldn't bend for me. I had to have a sticker or replace my exhaust system...

Anyone know if TRD made the headers for the v6 with the EGR? With the EGR return pipe cutout?

I know this is old but I have some NOS Gibson ceramic coated headers for the 3.4l tacoma or t-100. These are new in the box with everything including mounting hardware, instruction booklet, and yes two Carb exemption decals. These were the last to be ca legal and they are not available anymore. I called gibson and they dont even have the carb exemption decals available anymore so if you need one they wont provide it. They will not pass smog unless you have the carb exempt decal prominently displayed under the hood. Allan.
