I’m picking up a set of TRD beadlocks for my 17 OR, and Ive been reading that they require PTR27-35100 (TRD lugnuts) is there any truth to this? I was really hoping to just use my factory OR lug nuts. Any info is much appreciated.

Also if the TRD off-road lugnuts wont work other TRD beadlocks could I just use these instead of the TRD lugnuts?

You will need the cone style lug nuts. The off-road lug nuts won’t fit. They are acorn and too big. I had to run to the parts store to get a set of cones while getting my wheels installed. Don’t make my mistake

Yes you need to use different lugnuts for the TRD Beadlock wheels your stock OR lug nuts will not fit. I had a set of the Beadlocks and I just spent the extra money and got the PTR27-35100 TRD kit from Ebay. I could have went a cheaper route and got some regular conical lug nuts but the TRD set gave me peace of mind knowing it was specifically designed for the beadlocks and Im also a TRD fanboy.

Would these work? They’ve been sitting in my tool box for 2 years and that’d be great if they did.

I got the mcgard lugnuts that I posted a link earlier they worked. Buuuut I’ve had the tires balanced twice now and I’m still getting quite a bit of highways speed vibrations. 4wp told me it was because of the lugnuts that I got and needed the ET ones.

Bulk black M12 x 1.5 conical is what I got with mine as a package from the Toyota dealer. Fraction of the cost of TRD branded ones. No installation issues, no vibrations, smooth ride. It looks like you’re in luck!
