I installed my Trd cold air intake on my 2011 Trd Tacoma. When I installed the intake it stared to make a loud noise when I started it up. The sound is like a beeping noise. I un hooked the hose that goes to the fuel regulator. When I did that the sound stopped. My question has anyone else had this issue? I took it to the Toyota dealership and they told me they have never hooked up a Trd intake and couldnt help me out... The truck runs fine.. I just need to know how to get rid of the sound

So where the barbed coupling goes into the mate coupling from the intake tube to the throttle body, if you push the tube past to block that opening it will make a whistling noise. I did the same thing on mine back it out a bit, I have to say, TRD's CAI is not made very well.
Another thing to consider is the top of the box could be warped and not seal the rubber ring around the element to the top, this needs to be fixed as it can and does allow a small amout of air to bypass the filter I.e. dirt could get in the engine.
