    Hey Guys,
I recently came across some replacement hoods for the 2007-08 Tacoma TRD Sport online, I want one for my Taco but the hood did not include the actual scoop insert, no grill, just a really big hole in the middle of the hood (with the poped up scoop of course), anyone know where I can find a TRD Sport hood with the scoop insert for a decent price:confused:. My Truck is Black so I would prefer a pre-painted piece, but a primered re-placement will do.

    Thanx,
    - Matt

The TRD Sport scoop is non-functional and for display purposes only.

I think he wants to know where to get the black plastic insert that makes the scoop non-functional... his hood has the big hole.

    Hey guys,

Thanx for all the help. I couldn't think of a better way to describe what parts that I was missing, lol. Although I find it alittle strange that you can but a factory replacement TRD Sport Hood with the scoop, but the plastic insert is not included its like buying a Jack and Coke, but only recieving the coke cause the Jack is a seperate piece, but anyway thanx again guys for all ur help.

It's possible they view it as a Jack & Coke without the Coke, which is honestly something I wouldn't complain about. :p

^ Perhaps you get the Jack & Coke as ordered, however you don't get the ICE.

thats not too bad for the inserts considering you can get the certifit hood for under $200.
