It's just a flashier intake. But it all looks nice when you pop the hood.

I will say the TRD catback exhaust does sound a bit nicer than stock, even if there's no tangible gain in performance.

I have a 2021 TRD Sport, a/t, V6 and the dealer parts dept. said the TRD intake only fits 2016-2018. The only compatable part is the TRD filter. I wonder why Toyota's website was updated for the TRD filter but not the intake. Or if there was a design change for the 2019+ air boxes or between a OR & Sport. I would hate to buy the intake and have install issues or warranty issues due to an incompatable part install.

Question, rather than buy an the entire TRD CAI Kit, would it be any better, and cheaper, to simply purchase the following parts separately?
Will they fit the Stock Upper Airbox?

    Thanks!

    4: 341032 (Coupler), w/Hose Clamps
    7: 341033 (Bellows), w/Clamps
    8: PTR03-35160-AE (Intake Flow Accelerator/Horn)

There was someone who did this and it came out to 315 or so. I think you have to have the red trd air box though because the size of the intake tube is different
