Because it is my personal opinion and findings that the A5 transmission shift logic no matter how tuned it has been takes too long to downshift. My manual input despite having the transmission tuned still allows the transmission to shift faster and more precise to my liking.

nice! Sounds great. Def didn’t seem like much drone and love that the S/C sounds louder than the exhaust on camera at least. 2.5 with the black widow is on my plan for now. Need to figure out the Y pipe or what I can do.

 

My truck prob sounds just as bad if not worse.

 

No, there is hardly any drone that will bother you if mounting in the OE location and the blower is definitely louder than the exhaust.

Put my new intercooler pumps in today. The flowrate is pretty boss now. Also, for those curious, two stock pumps running off the same wires as one pump DOESN'T blow the fuse.

I know @BassAckwards wanted me to make a video showing how I installed the pumps in parallel. I'll let you guys know when that's posted.

Also, I’m curious.....maybe just to start some conversation.......have any of you guys ever wondered about installing a bigger intercooler than what we have in there now. I have zero clue on a benefit ....just curious.

 

Maybe that’s what I meant. My electrical knowledge is limited......not afraid to admit it.

 

I installed small a motorcycle radiator in addition to the stock intercooler radiator. I would estimate it adds around 30% more surface area to the system.

 

Based on the simple fact that Toyota is known to overbuild rather than underbuild everything they design for their vehicles, this intercooler appears to be almost a modded design off the one for the SVT Cobra and Lightning. The issue is the heat exchanger is too small, not our intercooler being too small, that appears to be well built and overbuilt for me.

 

So could a bigger heat exchanger be fitted in
