That really sucks... Glad we were able to at least get some revision done to the tune.

    PS: Thank you!

Thanks for the info, i was wondering how the plug came apart. Ill have to see if i can find a diagram online. Do you know what type of retainers are needed? I had trouble tracking that down

Thanks man that would be great! How much would you like to get for it? I can paypal you for it and postage. Also do you happen to have any of the connectors for the coil packs? If so could i buy one of those too? I messed up one of the orange insulators that go in those a while back:oops:

Bought this today, I should be all set. Thanks for the help guys. Question, is there a speed shop in the Southern California that specializes in our trucks and getting the most out of our Superchargers?

I was off 1 rib on the water pump and it shredded like this. It bird nested behind the crank pulley. It was really hard to see. I heard a pop which was the one rib snapping off. I only saw it when looking through the fender well down the side of the pulley. I now manually spin the engine over a couple times because of this. I know this isn’t the same belt as mine since this is the SC and mine was the main. Sucks man hopefully it didn’t shear anything else along the way.

There is a SOCAL proxy speed shop. Ask, @JustDSM and @nd4spdbh about it. It is awesome from manual or auto to maximizing safe and efficient power from our 1GRs

make sure the belt is riding directly in the middle.

unless you recently pressed on a new pulley or new tensioner then I doubt your pulleys are out of alignment. Double checking the alignment of the belt on the pulleys. I doubt cutting the belt caused this. The ribs run parallel and unless you were 12 beers deep with the razor blade it is not likely you cut a rib. Misaligned the belt, more likely.

A quick visual check is usually enough. Also like zip said, I like to turn the crank over a few times to make sure everything is seated properly.

That is a CLEAN engine bay - very nice!

Can't speak to what speed shops there may be in your area. FWIW, many of us are getting the most from our setups through this and the HP Tuners for 2005-2015 threads. @JustDSM and @nd4spdbh are the engine and (automatic) transmission whisperers, respectively.

Non Tacoma related but if I can get it running I can start the truck again. My beater that had ira catalytic converter stolen isn’t worth replacing it. I put a straight pipe on for now but drives like shit. I ordered a new O2 that was also cut and was going to fab a bung and add the 02 to the pipe sans cat. think it will work? I get a ruff fluctuating idle now and the codes are all related to the car/sensors.

new 02 arrives Monday and hoping I can start the S/C install shortly after but need the second car

If it’s probably a common problem for your car (cat-stolen mod), I’d check out Honda forums (I think you said Honda?) and see what solutions guys have come up with. Another solution if you can’t find an o2 sim is to get one of these and let ‘er rip without cats.
