It doesn’t say that. I did a double take after LR pointed that out. There’s a small sticker on the top near the inlet that may suggest so.

Magnuson and URD sell the fit kits. Just got one for my FJ, but it doesn’t have all parts that would be missing in the above TRD blower.

Anybody else want in on a core swap to rebuild their blower? Lol. Split all evenly and send it to the next person. Re-use packaging if possible. Think it's feasible? I've been dreading sending mine in due to the down time really.. I don't mind pulling it all and doing the work.. would be nice to just have it in hand and do it once.

Post koh you have my attention actually. I’m at 150k miles of absolute abuse of this motor and blower. Almost scared to even send an oil sample to get analyzed.

Dude.. you have no idea.. with the unknown mileage on the blower before I got a hold of it.. and the 90k of abuse I've put on it.. I bet it's terrible inside.. but sounds good. About the time frame I'm looking at too. Before it gets too hot again.

i can help facilitate since it’s about an hour south of me. I just need an oil change and upgrade the coupler soon, I’m a long ways from a rebuild I hope.

because aftermarket stuff has to be carb approved here in commiefornia, so that means the sticker you have to put on the truck for the intake or blower or whatever it is. just dealt with this myself recently. i couldnt get mine passed with my intake so i put the factory intake back on, went back there, etc. bunch of bullshit imo =D

hopefully that works out for ya. I had that setup but sold and and put on the newer one. AS long as you do not get a tech that looks up the parts. Never had it done but have heard of it happening. That lid is super clean looks great too

What intake is that from? Did that ever come on the Tacos? I'm tired of swapping intakes for a smog check.

So im getting worried that my cowl intake is going to hinder airflow, as Im using it with the stock intake box/K&N filter. I have no fender liners and not interested in a snorkel (fiberglass). Im not opposed to a CAI but im not taking the chance of sucking up dirt through the fender.

Anyone have any similar experience or advice?
