As I’m thinking about things to tidy up tomorrow first, I took the vent hose on the rear of the engine off and didn’t put it back on before putting the surge tank on...I’ll probably have to remove those 6 bolts in the plenum and 2 support bracket bolts, remove the surge, plug in the one side of that vent hose, reinstall just to connect that sucker on the underneath driver side of the surge tank.

If you’re talking about the PCV hose from the valve cover to the supercharger, it can be done while the supercharger is on. It’s just a little tight getting your hands in there.

I about had to break my hands to get that little bastard. Also, y'all work slow I did my whole install in a like 10 hours. But I didn't break anything or go with ucon so I didn't have to pull the cam gears.

All done. I don’t like not having my boost and afr gauge set up, ran out of time at the do-it-yourself garage (also y it took 3 days instead of 2, I couldn’t work from dusk til dawn). I’ll tell ya, working 3 days on a S/C gets old....but that whine DONT!!!!! We’ll see when the first CEL comes on. I have driven about 20 miles on it so far.

How long is the break in period?

    Woot!

What’s the thing above your trans cooler?
Also did you have to buy extra hose to run the coolant tank where you have it?

It’s one of those cheap all in one air horns from autozone. Mine gave out and that was the quickest fix.

I did buy hose. Bought 10’ and used about 5.5-6’ of it. I probably used more than I needed but I didn’t want ANY tight bends in the line.

Just a guess based on logs of MAF flow, in the neighborhood of 400 at the crankshaft.

IMG_2007.jpg Anyone get these codes? I've just been clearing them for a while now and figure I should look into fixing the problem. First showed up last winter and would periodically pop up. More often when it's cold outside, but the last month or so it comes up every few times I run the truck. Any input is appreciated.

Have you ever removed your headers?

Have you checked to see that all of the hardware for the headers is tight? As in for a suspected exhaust leak.

Do you have some sort of really bad vacuum leak? This would also cause a lean set of codes though.

Have you tapped the front cats to listen for any rattles?

Bad cats then. Or dying secondary O2 sensors. Also do the blowers have a break in period? I just beat on mine immediately lol.

Never had em off. I checked to make sure everything is tight when the code started popping up more often. I assume there are no vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks since I can't hear anything and there has been no change in performance or runnability at all. But I'll have to tap around on them to see if there are any rattles.

My guess was after 100k on the trd tune the cats were maybe starting to clog up or foul out an o2 sensor, but I figured if it were the sensor it would give a separate code for that
