that lip is where you keep your pens and pencils. It needs a pocket protector, though

Here's a pic of the rear dome light. Not sure if this is intentional, but it's tucked up under the lip where the moonroof mechanical stuff goes. This means that when it's on, the light only shines below head level of the driver and certainly isn't visible in the rear view mirror. Keeps the driver from getting blinded while it's on.

Also had some glue drippage from the moonroof interface. No big deal, it hardened so I just pulled it off.

OP, in your first pic of the dash it shows a angle/tilt gauge. Do you know if that is specific to the OR? That is would the limited or sport 4x4 have the same angle/tilt display.

I'm not sure if it's only off road or not.

Thanks for the reply. Still need to go check the 16's out. It is a bit of a drive for me. One reason I am trying to collect as much info before driving down to the Phoenix area.

Cup holder's for you. Looking down at the drivers door ones, they are all the same.

I wish I could get the black interior with out the orange dash. I really don't like grey interiors, they get dirty too easy. Oh well...

I sat in a grey interior a few days ago, and I was surprised to see that the entire interior was black except for the seats, which were a very dark grey. The headliner, doors, carpet, seat plastic were all black. Kinda unusual for a "grey" interior truck.

Makes me feel a little bit better. I already have one on order so obviously it wasn't enough to stop me.

you can get homelink mirrors on ebay from the same guy that runs bobsmirrors.com (site has not been updated in ages) for ~175.00 in various configurations. search around this 3g forum and you will find a link to his ebay store. or you can grab one of the headliner homelink units off of ebay and hack that in pretty easily. it'll be one of the first things i do. funny, you are one of the only other people i have seen post that they are more wooried about someone grabbing their remote and going and cleaning them out! everyone that does not like homelink worries about it being always tied into constant power and people being able to open the garage if they are parked outside. simple solution if you are doing it custom is to not tie into constant but into switched power - best of both worlds

    cheers

Good info, thanks for sharing.. Its sad however that Toyota cant include something as simple as a garage door opener in their vehicles..

Anyone know if it's JUST the seats that a different color or is the entire interior darker
when you go with black seats as opposed to the graphite?

I agree its silly they didn't put homelink in more packages or trim levels beyond the Limited. here is that other thread that deals with it and includes a bunch of info

Stupid part is they did include a homelink mirror in some 2nd gen models, and then took it away. Toyota constantly gives and takes with small features like that. They add something new and then cut a corner somewhere else.

Thanks for the pics! Are the steering wheel controls illuminated?
What does the round knob on the side of the driver's seat do, raise the seat?
