Mossy had a fat mark up when I checked with them....maybe that’s why they can offer 45k tho.

I was able to get my 18 Off Road for $500 over invoice...(being built next month) Best they would do on a Pro was MSRP. That was the deciding factor for me.

I was able to get my '17 DCLB off-road for 2.5k under invoice and $1400 more than KBB value on my trade in. Had to "walk away" a couple times but it all comes down to how well you want to negotiate. It all comes down to preference. My suggestion is to drive both and go with what feels right. When you find the right one, you'll know.

Hey all. I just got home from Santa Monica Toyota. I'm the happy owner of a 2017 TRD OR with AT. Got it in Magnetic Gray. Premium & Tech package. Tow package. Oval side step. Bed step. Wheel locks and spare tire lock. Also the all weather floor liners.

    I paid $35,500 for it.

MSRP on it was $40,992. Invoice is $37,614. At least that's what I found on the Internet for invoice. Can anyone confirm.

I paid cash so I think that helped me in the negotiation. I feel really good about the deal I got. Best of all, it was exactly the truck I wanted. No compromise.

I talked to 6 dealers and no one came close to this deal. Especially every other one I had to compromise somehow. Either color or options, etc.

I appreciate everyone that helped me with my questions.

What state? I live in the Los Angeles area. None of my local dealers had any in inventory. I found 3 dealers a bit a drive away and the best deal I got was $500 below MSRP which isn't a deal because that's just the $500 rebate being offered.

Two of the dealers had their Pros with a $15,000 "Market Value" mark up. So $60,000 is their starting price. The Pros are cool but I found that pretty ridiculous. And one of them, best deal was $4000 over MSRP. I walked and they didn't blink. They said they get that and more anytime they have one is stock. I guess there are a lot of people with more dollars than sense in the greater LA area.

MA. It's hard in CA from what I've read. There's definitely a lot of proud dealers.

Good on you man. That's a smoking deal you got based on what I experienced. Enjoy that Pro of yours.

Awesome, enjoy! I think i will hold off until i find a deal similar to yours. As others have mentions, dealers on the west coast are damn proud of the TRD Pros.

I'm looking to find where I can buy quality TRD PRO decals for the rear panels. Black and red colors.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

TRD Pro Leaf packs are the same as any other stock taco. The rear struts and front coilovers are the only special bits currently. I removed my rear leaf packs last weekend and am basically scrapping them.

I'll just buy a Pro and get Pro trade-in value once that time comes vs. spending $ 10k extra to modify an Off Road to a Pro and only get Off Road trade in value

Pro will hold value better than the offroad... even though the offroads already hold excellent value.
