I am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I was looking at the TRD Oil Filter for my 2018 TRD Sport v6. I am confused about the different ones listed. Some say cartridge style and some not. Do our trucks take cartridge style filters or if I want to use a cartridge style filter, what other parts do I need?

I'm about the do the same. The tech tightened my plastic housing on so tight I had to get my impact on it. Thank you free oil changes:frusty:... Not happy about the whole ordeal and am lucky mine is still usable. Will replace it eventually.

The regular filter seems fine, I don't recall anyone on here having any problems, why would you even need a TRD version?

The TRD oil filter is PTR43-00082 (cartridge style for 16+) which replaces the YZZA1. The PTR43-0080 is a spin on for 2nd gen tacos.
