I have new tires on my 2005 TRD OR wheels. From what I understand these are 16x8.

I would like to put on 2018 TRD OR wheels and I hear they are 16x7.

May be a dumb question but can I swap my tires over until I need new ones? I can get the tire size if you need it.

The 2018 wheels and tires are a direct fit at stock size. The TPMS will need to be remapped.

Will my tires fit the slightly wider rim?

If they have 17’s they have sport wheels, not off-road wheels.

same 6 lug pattern has been used by toyota for quite some time. But yes, 2nd and 3rd gen trd OR's use the same setup.
