    Yep....lots
I've always wanted to put the TRD exhaust on my 2018 TRD Sport (DCSB), but I'm not crazy about chrome. I just found out that they have the Performance exhaust with a black chrome tip (PTR 0335190), but it is listed as 2019-2020. I looked at the part # for the Chrome version (PTR 0335161) and it will fit everything from 16-20. By reason (and I know that is dangerous) if the chrome one will fit all Gen 3's, wouldn't the Black tipped version work with all Gen 3s? Anybody have first hand knowledge?

Wouldn't be the first part (2020 LED headlights and Remote tailgate release) that aren't for my 2018 that I've bought. Seems Toyota never lists anything as backward compatible.

I've searched the forums and have seen many 2019/20 owners buying this but couldn't find anybody with previous versions that have bought the Black tipped version.

I have the black tip, I was wanting to install the whole TRD performance exhaust, mainly for the sound.

Must have misread your post my apologies. If you are doing the cat back system it will still come down to the diameter of your exhaust. My guess is you will still be fine. This is the exhaust I have on mine so same thing, measure the pipe in front of the cat (just to be certain), and again if its the same it should work no problem. I'm thinking it gets welded on anyway.

Not sure if this is applicable but I have the TRD catback system and wanted to throw the TRD black chrome tip on it...turns out the TRD catback tip is welded on and the black tip is a clamp on style. Not the end of the world for anyone that does literally any work with exhaust systems but it wasn't something I could just casually do in 10 minutes in my driveway.

I ended up buying it from the local Yota dealership because online purchases kill you on shipping and handling...it was like $675

    this and that...
i just installed the 2020 trd pro exhaust a couple weeks ago. i decided to buy straight from my local dealer, since im in the middle of the pacific and the freight wouldve been astronomical lol. it is pricey regardless. truth be told. it has an awesome exhaust tone, but it simply isnt loud enough, which is exactly what trd was going for. you really only hear it when you gun it. the plus side is, there is no drone. i have this exhaust coupled with the urd mk2 ypipe which in turn makes the exhaust sounds more audible. i do like the way my truck looks with it now. i was always an exhaust kinda guy. would i buy this again? i dunno, maybe. i might try the rest of the urd setup or a black widow variant and see which i like the best.

It came off my 911...it was a blemish tip that Akra replaced and didn’t want the blemish back. So a dremil and a couple of beers and viola!...a Taco Tip, good for .05hp!
