Back in the 80's I saw a Mazda 626 that had been completely re-badged as a Mercedes. Grill ornament and everything. Even had Mercedes rims and a Mercedes steering wheel. I thought it was hilarious.

All Pros start off as base tacoma. When they grow up they become Pros.

Pulled up to intersection and someone driving a tacoma how i would imagine the pro to be. 3” lift, sweet wheels, MT rubber, and cool racks in the back.

 

In before the Pro owners who want more lift after dumping $55k retail for their trucks swap out the Fox shocks, wheels, tires, for something better and realizing they could have saved $15k and purchased an OR with the same exact drive train and rear locker.

 

I don’t hate on that from the Pro owners lol.

They throw a dog a bone and let us buy their low mileage suspensions and wheels.

 

my 2015 Pro was 43000.00 retail.. i traded in my 2014 OFFROAD, it was a piece of crap,, had it 4 months.. i was the first to buy and post pics of a Pro on here, now i have a 2017 pro for 5 yrs. its a awesome truck.. or i would have traded it in by now.. you have no clue what things cost.

 

Its a damn emblem, if it makes you happy then do it. I think it looks great on a Pro, then why not on your truck. Just take off the tacoma emblems off the door. Don't worry about what people say or think so stand up, put on the big boy pants and just do it.
