Just finish sound deadening the Tacoma. Was a long tough weekend getting this done but worth it.
Bought materials from Sound Deadener Showdown. Did this same work to my Landcruiser and it made a big difference.

    Only took one picture...
There are three materials layered on top of one another.
    1) foil backed dynamat type tiles
    2) thin felt type material
    3) thick rubber mat material

Did all the floors, back wall, kick panels and doors.

    Nothing worthy

Gutted my whole car back in the day to do this, TOO much work, but so worth it.
I understand there is a way cheaper product at a big box store for home improvement thats essentially the same thing?
Would love to do this on my roof to kill some wind noise from roof rack and Kayaks.

need to learn more about this stuff
I want to see a rear window mod where it lowers completely like the tundras. That I'd pay big bucks for.

Also. Love the truck. You really do have time and money to burn!

This thing is pretty sweet!! I had a 2016 Tacoma Off Road 4x4 in quicksand and just had to have the Pro, if you don't me asking how much are you at as far as total investment so far? Did the leather kit not come with the center pieces like the Pro does, thats the only difference i see is the material used for the center section, loving the rig looks righteous!!! Def. think they should of offered the Pro in this color IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the FJ come in a green?

Would it have been more expensive/effort to get a TRD Pro and paint it Quicksand via color match?
    Just curious.

But definitely love your build!

Is there any way you can post up all the part numbers you needed for the power rear window in one post, I want to do this to my 16 as well.

    None.
Seriously...he doesn't care about "cheaper" but at least it's authentic. I built my TRD Off Road to be IMO better than the Pro but wouldn't put anything Pro on it besides the grill. I want the sunroof, better suspension than what's on the Pro and set it up more for off roading. I did leather and everything "better" the Pro has. But, it's not a Toyota Engineered Pro.

    Nice build OP, looking sharp!

Curious about the Opti-coat Pro, is this a good protection layer against pin stripes when off-roading? How long does it last.

    Thanks,
