Are there any replacements for stock Tacoma pro grill lettering because one of mine completely fell off. D6FBA400-2658-443D-B48E-08EB418A16A9.jpg

Are you sure that's stock? I don't think I've ever seen a stock pro grille with blue lettering. (Or did you paint them?)

They have a vinyl decal over them.

Looks like someone put vinyl ver the letters - Tuf Skinz sells them in color matching. Any dealership can get you replacement letters.

Thank you. So I can just go to a Toyota dealership and get replacements?

Yes, assuming what you have is an OEM grille, but they will be Silver. The colored letters were added - OEM is silver.

Off topic sorry to hijack. How did you attach your bow shackles like that? I’ve been looking at SOS and ARB recovery points for my 2nd gen.

I'm not OP but this is an option (bracket-only, no d-rings included): https://amistyling.com/demon-brackets-toyota-9-19-tacoma

I have these but can't install until next week, waiting for the dealership to order a bolt I stripped when removing.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the OEM pro grille is a one-piece mold. The letters aren’t screwed on from the back.

Taking another look at your grille, it's not OEM, but the letters look like they mat be the same. I'd check with a dealer and see - the letters aren't that expensive. You can always pull the vinyl stickers off the others - or get a new kit and redo them.

    A true gentleman. :hattip:

Do you need isolators on your shackles or do they fit pretty good? Thank you for the link I’ve never seen these before.

I’m pretty sure you are correct. My OEM grille is 1 piece mold with the Toyota letters being it’s own single panel.

Thanks for info. No surprises there most recovery gear from my observation doesn’t come with shackles on the house. Do you think you’ll need isolators? Sorry about your bolt

Not molded - pop in, probably use some type of adhesive. There was thread awhile back where someone lost one, as well. And, I think it was the T.

My shackles came with rubber gaskets that tightened the shackles so they don't swing.

I've watched a lot of install videos for these and they have all fit super easy and snug, no other hardware needed. When I install mine I'll try to remember to update this thread or DM you with how they fit. I'm putting them on a 2020 with some red d-rings that are also from AMI Styling.

Please do if you don’t mind. I’m currently going down the rabbit hole as we speak. Pretty good deal and I like the option of having 2 without moving the factory tow hook. Some shackles come with rubber grommets or isolators that prevent shackles from swinging. Some mounts may allow more swing than others. Heading to YouTube to see how they do it.

    Also, welcome to TW!!!! :hattip:

Again, sorry to hijack your thread OP.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood what you meant by isolators. I just checked the packaging for both the d-rings and the brackets and I don't see anything like that. You might have to get something else or make up something yourself to prevent swinging, or maybe it's prevented organically somehow.

    Sorry as well, OP! :D

Individual OEM grille letters can be removed. I took mine off and painted them a satin black to match the grille.

Tacovinyl.com sells Tacoma Pro and 4Runner Pro grills that have individual letters available in various colors; not sure if they'd be an exact fit though. Perhaps send him an email if your Toyota dealer can't help you out?

    Good luck!
