If you want to trade, I have a brand new in box 2019 TRD pro skid plate I just received. I tried ordering the previous part number but got this one, and I don't like the red letters. Just throwing it out there.

Not a fan of the red letters, either.

I don’t know the answer to your question. But I suspect you can make it work either way. If the diff drop affects plate height, you may need longer bolts and aluminum spacers.

Mine was missing one 12mm bolt. Any options other than going to the dealer to get one? Can I use the stock 12mm bolts that came off the stock skid plate?

Just installed my skid this morning. Went smoothly.

Odd thing, everyone references removing the stock skid plateS. My ‘19 sport only had 1 stock skid toward the front. Does this sound correct?

Mine was missing the two rear bolts. I reused 2 12mm bolts that came on the stock skid. Worked fine. I read that others did the same as well.

You just have to watch for deals, earlier in the year they were 40% off and I think Black Friday was 20% off with additional discounts.

Will a 2020 TRD OR stock skid plate fit a 2020 Tacoma TRD sport with no issues?

    Please advise and thank you,

    Dan

Yep, but you do need to remove the air dam and of course the little OEM skids that are on there.

Will this work on a Limited 2020? Anything special I would need to know?

Yes if you remove the goofy spoiler hanging down in the front.

A TREMENDOUS thank you to all who posted information here. Following everyone’s advice (and mistakes at times), I put anti-seize on the bolts and had it installed alone in about an hour. I like it!

Note: this is the TRD knockoff skid plate from Amazon. I had it sprayed with bed liner.

For the 2 years I've been considering it, they haven't.

You missed the 40 percent off anniversary deal last year, that really made it worth buying.

Yup. Literally by hours. Been looking for that to come back around.
