Is your T/X Baja stock lifted? Did you install an aftermarket lift? What modifications did you make to get the 285/75R16 BFGs to fit?

 

Little hard to believe that you thru the 285s on and have zero rubbing off road. If you flex and have your tire turned I'm sure you'll hit the cab mount.

 

If you're at max flex with the wheels turned at full lock, what is the max tire size you can run without hitting the cab mount?

 

I think a 265/75. With a 285 you will need to trim and cab mount on the stock baja set up. I added the 1" spacer and had to trim and cab mount. Probably trimmed more than others because got the 1.25 wheel spacers as well.

 

Stock lift that comes with the Baja package, I did add the icon AAL in the rear however they would have fit regardless of the AAL or not

 

Nope no CMC or lift in front, believe it or not I can go take it out off road behind my house and I might not have hit max flex but it's been put through the paces and no rubbing on even the fender. The front mud flaps have been removed though. If y'all don't believe me your more then welcome to come on down to Austin Texas and I'll let you take it out and see for yourself

 

Wonder how the black ring would look on the gunmetal rims??? Any photoshoppers here?

 

The wheels I'm getting...SCS SR8 , in bronze...they come with a fake beadlock in black.

 

I know it's not the exact rim (thought I had a pic of it) but it's the same color and still TRDs

 

I have 255/85/16 KM2s on my stock Pro suspension and have no rubbing. Granted it's a narrower tire, but it's still over 33" tall.

 

Do you have any pictures of your rig with the 255s?

Wish I had a definite answer. When it went I was pulling someone out of snow, but that can't be what weakened it.

 

Well thats depressing. The Taco is supposed to be the reliable DD for when its not nice enough to drive my RSTi lol
