TRD Pro?

doubt its a redesign, the ad shows the back of a current tacoma 2nd gen with the TRD pro badging, 2015 will be new design and rumored to be unveiled at this years chicago auto show (where toyota usually debuts new trucks), but the pro this year will be a 2014.

 

The tundra is the new tundra. If you freeze frame it, the tacoma looks like a 2014 with a raptor style grille. Staying tuned!!

 

The fantasy of finding trd pro grills at wreck yards are dancing through my head.

 

What Ben said. If you pause it at the right time you'll see a completely different design and it's not the tundra. Seen this commercial a few times and I think toyota is making a good decision if that's the 2015.

 

The grille is a different design, maybe a upgraded suspension like the baja and custom wheels, basically another baja package. Its still a 2nd Gen, waiting on the 2015 3rd Gen.

Note: same taillights, headlights, body lines, bumpers, etc. Not sure why everyone keeps saying this is the new tacoma. Its a new package. Nothing more nothing less.

 

Not the Tacoma, but the 4Runner has some great wheels.

So this looks like a 2014? Didn't know 2014s looked like this. I was talking about the 2015.

I've never seen one with that type of grille. Especially with toyota written across it.

There are 3 vehicles in the commercial a tundra, a 4 runner and a tacoma, that is the tundra. Notice the headlights, body lines, just like a 2014 tundra. It's just a different grille. Hence what I said earlier the package will likely include a raptor style grille on all the models. See pic below. So yes its a 2014 package and not a redesign.

 

I got that already. Just got confused because of the grille
