    No problem. If you have the means to get it done, I would highly recommend doing the job you self. Like you said, the only way to learn is hands on experience.

    The most expensive of the tools needed would be a decent Dial Indicator, and a micrometer. Next in line would be two quality torque wrenches (ft lbs and in lbs). A decent dial indicator w/ the magnetic base that is needed for rear end work runs about 180-200 bucks.


    Next week I plan on having a buddy that runs a rear end shop here in town help me install a LSD I picked up a few months back. When I get it all squared away I'll post up a thread about the install.
