I'll admit, the sport is a little more stiff riding, so I swiped the shocks for the OR version and what a nice ride now. Also, I like the hood scoop as it channels in more air to my 4 barrel carburetor for more HP and torque. :D;)

But Limited comes with all the fancy cameras...which actually came in handy in Moab.

I've owned TRD Sport, SR, and Off-Road

To be honest TRD Sport and SR, I couldn't tell the difference.

Off-Road suspension is way softer, and it just glides over road bumps and imperfections. Nose dive and body roll is there but I still can take corners aggressively without fearing a rollover at stock height.

It can have all of the cameras in the world, if it doesn't have three pedals under the dash it won't darken the threshold to my garage. :)

I've wheeled in many sticks...but my age has caught up with me. I still have a stick that I play with every so often and have mad respect for those wheeling in the shit with the theft-deterrent pedal.

I hear that a lot in my age group (mid-60s); the fact is I've never learned how to drive a vehicle with an automatic and I have no intention of starting now. :p

Once upon a time my wife had an Audi A4... They couldn't align it easily so the dealer asked to keep it over the weekend, and said to me "Can you drive stick? All I have is an Audi S4". My answer: why yes, yes I can.
I had lots-o-fun. These days, I don't mind driving an Automatic. Gone are the days I'd push-start my Manuals with dead batteries and impress friends. In my 60s, I have no desire to impress anyone anymore.

Hopefully my wife and I receive the Sport we are waiting on, but to be honest, there's that faux scoop... I'm thinking I'd be happier with a new hood without the scoop for the truck.
If they are going to mess (more) with airflow over the top of the vehicle, I'd want the dang thing to have some purpose. And no, it's not a place to put / hide lights.
So - is there anything that could be done with it that's actually useful?

LOL, I had a dead battery in my current car, turned out to be an internally corroded battery cable (cable looked perfectly normal from the outside; no swelling at all). I ended up roll starting that car at least a dozen times before we got to the root cause of the dead battery.

If you are serious about dropping the hood because of the scoop,..
Post the OEM color and charge $650 (or more) and swap. You will sell in in 1 Day.

I am sure every TRD PRO owner hates the hood scoop as much as the Sport owner.
Well actually the OR owner hates the hood scoop more,,,,,,

I would have never thought there was such interest in swapping hoods. Thanks for the KUDOS. While I wait for the truck, I might as well read up on it. My intention is to keep it pretty much stock, with the exception of the grill, tonneau cover, and possibly the hood.

Them OR boys all want what we're shakin'. If you decided to trade, it would pay for your grille and then some.

When I test drove the sport, all I saw out the windshield was that damn hump of the scoop. Annoying

I hear that a lot. I always wonder about the people who argue that they can't see over the scoop.
