    I noticed that the '11 Sport does have a front tow hook but the package does not mention it.

    Undercover,Pop n Lock, Hardwired GPS, Garage door opener , Scanguage II, wireless back up camera, X994 Basslink, ...Prefer stock and non invasive functional mods
    The way I looked at the difference was if I was not wanting a 4WD and wanted the TRD pack otherwise, may as well have at the very least the locker and the tire/wheel combo. I have no idea what the difference between the "sport"suspension and Off road "tuned" suspension is.

    Aries bull bar, Lund grill screen, blackened h/l, Weathertech plastic all over, Access LE tonneau, window tint, tube steps, DF-Toy aux adapter, cig plug always on, console vault, hitch step, 1700 watt in-cab inverter and dual battery (in-progress), Delta bike hitch mounts
    Sport is stiffer, Off Road softer, but I don't know what they mean by "tuned" either. Also, the Sport comes with premium blinker fluid that you don't have to change until 100,000 miles.

    When I bought mine the salesman told me the sport would handle more of a load than the off road. Sounded backwards to me. To me with it saying "sport" tells me it would be a softer suspension to give a more comfortable ride.

    Btw, mine came with a 100k mile muffler bearing instead of the blinker fluid. :rolleyes:

    Yes, you could opt for the heavy duty muffler bearing over the premium blinker fluid, you are correct. But I changed my OEM blinker fluid to an aftermarket brand and I swear my blinkers are a lot quieter now when they blink.

    If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    Actually, if you put a wing/spoiler on the rear of the hood scoop, you can squeeze 120k out of the blinker fluid bearing before you rotate 'em.

    Sport is for those who like the way it looks on the road.

    Off Road is for those who like the way it goes anywhere on or off road.

    Sport has nothing unique to improve traction off road. It has TRAC (traction control).

    Off Road has a locking rear differential in addition to TRAC. 4WD Off Roads have Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) if you need your truck to climb like a mountain goat!

    Sport has firmer set-up due to lower profile tires and larger swaybar, but softer shocks. Offroad shocks have heavier dampening rate and stiffer front coil springs.

    The mechanical LSD doesn't send power to anything.

    The same power goes in.....but the clutch paks mechanically engage (so to speak) both wheels together and they're both driven at the same rate UNTIL there's a difference in torqe between the wheels. At that point, the torque over-rides the clutch paks ability to drive both wheels at the same rate.
