I kinda figured that would be the case! No problems with that.. itll just take a little getting used to

as long as it holds the power, it can make whatever noises it wants to :p

Finally, someone who appreciates a racetruck... I saw a post the other day where a guy was complaining he didn't like the whine from the TRD supercharger and was trying to find a way to get rid of it. I was like... wut? Maybe he should just buy a floating sofa with a V8 from Ford.

Yeah, I'm afraid there aren't too many around these parts that do.. everyone is into the overlanding/offroad bit. I have one of those, so I'm ready to make my daily more fun to drive and a lot quicker. I live in the hill country out on some curvy roads and drive 25 miles one way to work everyday, so ill really get to enjoy the truck. Don't need two offroad trucks, so I figured id go to the opposite end of the spectrum with my 6spd build :burnrubber:

Most of the die hard racetruck people are on either customtacos.com or XRU.. I just joined XRU recently, and it doesn't seem like theres as much activity on there, so I just popped back on here.

lol that's crazy! I cant wait to listen to that whine. My gas mileage is going to go to absolute shit, because I am going to get on it everywhere I go.. Literally cant wait :headbang:

So far, yes. I was expecting AFR to lean out, but it hasn't. Will buy new Port injectors if I do start leaning out when it gets cold here.

Wow .. some of us are running the 2.5 pulleys with the ucon and our injector duty cycle is in the high 90% at WOT. I have 80lb injectors on deck.

@rjbiii ii exactly my thoughts, I’ll probably still be driving my racetruck after internal combustion is made illegal...

Ya, the other forums are a little underwhelming. Guys here seem friendly.

My friend is going to help me do a couple of videos tomorrow.

That's crazy. I can't wait to get my truck on the dyno. Maybe my injectors were accidentally ported...??

I don't think so. I'll do some rolling starts maybe. While I bet it's unlikely that I could blow the 3+ clutch, I'm still not going to risk it.

@rjbiii since you asked a couple of days ago about tire size in summer:

    Front: 275/55/20 Toyo Proxes ST-II
    Rear: 305/50/20 Nitto NT420S

Would increasing tire diameter affect that calculation?

I think tire size will only affect vehicles speed.
    I'm at 336 g/s x 1.18 = 396hp .. I'll be happy with anything above 360.

That's pretty good. Do you have details on your build somewhere?
