I'm planning on buying these wheels for $900, is this a good deal or not? Just wanting some honest opinions from fellow members to make sure I'm making the right decision. There's 5 of them all in great shape and all 24 lug nuts included. Thanks.

Sorry if I'm threadjacking, but can you put 17" tires on a 16" rim?

Well I've heard of people putting different sized tires on a different sized rim. There was no need for you to be a butt about it

No you are not getting a good deal...in fact you can get them from TRDparts4u.com

    For $149.27 each
    http://www.trdparts4u.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-8362

You don't need five you only need 4 and you have all the lug nuts so you over paying and getting more than you need.

    4 wheels x $149.27 = $597.08 plus shipping.

I bet if you went down to you dealer you could get these for about the same price without having to pay shipping, only sales tax.

Don't get suckered into this deal it's not worth it.

    Hope that helps man :)

No, bad deal. You can get those wheels from your local toyota for 125-150 each. I got the anthracite for 150 each.

prove it...show us where you have seen people put a 17" tire on a 16" wheel...i dont believe it...but nice cover story!!

...different size tires as 285/75/16 or 265/75/16...but what do all those tires have in common...yep, you guessed it...16" wheel!!

the only one that was wrong between the two posts was you...he was not being a butt at all...

to the OP, those look to be the silver wheels that go for 125-150 at trdparts4u as stated...dont do it for 900!

Exactly my point... i'm sorry for coming across so short. It was unnecessary.

End of story = tires sized to have 16" wheels (ie. 265/70/R16) can only fit 16" wheels and not 17".

I agree that you can definitely shop around and find much much better pricing than $900.
