lmao I think you'll like the combo... it's an extremely versatile setup.

The only thing I don't like is the extra space I need to store it when it's not on my truck.

which living in a townhouse with a small garage is something to consider as well lol. I just like that you can mount things to it and have a waterproof bed with ample storage.

I take the softopper off for the winter, and it looks like it's easy enough to take the topper off with the bed rack in place.

    decisions decisions lol

I leave mine off during our brief winter when ice may accumulate. I will say that it's not easy to remove/install the topper with the rack on because you have to fully open the topper before sliding it under the rack. You can't install it normally because the rack prevents the topper from extending upward during the unfolding process.

Once you get the removal/install of the topper down it's mostly painless though.

that's good to know. I can put the topper on in about 10 min, and off in less than 5 haha

Forgot to update my damn thread... I trimmed a bit more off of the fenders yesterday where I made contact during my last trip out to Barnwell Mountain.

Two more weeks and I get to put the truck to the test again at Hidden Falls! :taco:

I didn't adjust preload at all. I bolted them up right out of the box. I wanted to see where it sat before making any changes and I like where it's at so I haven't messed with them. I'm guessing Down South Motorsports (the shop I ordered from) adjusted them during assembly.

    Having trouble with yours?

Hey Thanks. You could say I'm having trouble. I was going to buy the package from DSM but wound up doing it in sections. I put the Dakar's and Fox shocks on the back first and then a couple of days ago put on the King 2.5 Rem Res and Camburg UCA's.
Before I write this know that I'm challenged mentally. I adjusted the driver's side down to 8 threads showing on the shock body. In order to adjust the passenger (rem res hose in way) I turned the adjustment tool sideways and hit it with rubber dead blow hammer. I only needed to move it an inch and then could turn it the rest of the way properly using the tool. I did that for two rotations and noticed that I had not gained a thread. Then I saw fluid leaking....I now know that by using the dead blow it actually loosened the shock body. I tightened the allen wrench bolt up and turned it back to tighten the body back to the top. I am taking the brand new shock to a shop in town to have the fluid replaced and maybe recharged if it needs it. Wanted to throw up...
I have read several threads on here where guys spun it down 15 times(which should equal 3"). I called King today and he said don't spin it more than twice from the factory. My truck is no where close to being level.

Thas kinda funny. I've done that stopping on a 600 my first time on a bike... No hot yoga or excuses, just weak and not able to keep it upright with the wheel slightly turned. :anonymous:
I keep thinking its a week away even with going to BMRA this weekend!
