It didn't come with a camera bracket? I can only speak to Tacos though..

 

I managed to get my relocation bracket from pelfrey a couple months before they went under... They sent 2 types so if the one I have left would work for your camera I could send it to you. If you remove the camera and shoot me a pic I can see if it looks like it will work.

Maybe not. I cant seem to find it ATM... I'm pretty sure I didnt throw it away. Once I find it I'll post a pic.

I thought it was stupid it didnt come with it. When I called them almost a year ago and asked they told me they didnt have or sell a relocate for the camera.

 

I don't see a relocate bracket mentioned anywhere on the website and didn't notice one in the packaging - pretty sure they don't provide one.

 

Heres the extra one I have. It desont work for my Tacomas camera. They sent 2 because of 2 different camera's used in the tacos.

The other one that I used doesnt have the same square cut out for the camera. Its a slightly different cut out shape.

That's trash. I bought my "The company who should not be named" bumper used and even that came with brand new brackets.

I have heard horror stories about their customer service being hit or miss. I guess you have to have them as a sponsor of your overland YT channel (XO) to get any customer service. Sorry Mel!

Yeah that company who I already named was the only one that sold them when I was looking almost a year ago. I feel like I've heard of someone else making them now but I cant remember who it was.

 

I'm a fan of CBI - I don't have complaints. It wasn't something I had considered until we started looking at install instructions and whatnot. It's a bummer it doesn't come with the relocate kit, but that doesn't make me less of a fan of theirs! I definitely haven't had any issues with Customer Service (granted, I *am* a sponsor vehicle...)

Good lord! I would be happy to donate you my 05-11 Tacoma bracket that you can either mod to fit or use as a template to DIY your own. Please do not spend that much. For the love of all that is good in the world!

 

haha - that's how I felt when I saw the price. Seems like a rip off! I'm all for alternate options that won't cost me $300+! I need to buy a new front skid...I'd much rather put that money towards that!

 

WOW I paid $25 for the 2 brackets that I got. Extended my factory harness with wire I had laying around at no cost. At that price they should include another camera and a nice bottle of liquor or something!

I feel like the bracket that I have left over is for the 05-11's. All I know is it didnt work for my 17 taco.

@MellyMel the only charge to get the bracket from me is the cost to ship. I would cover it but without having a job atm with income coming in I'm not spending money on anything except bills I cant miss, like my truck payment.
