Hopefully you are at least getting unemployment! I hope the new job prospect works out Jason. Being without work is so stressful!

    YES!

I'm so glad you agree....it's now officially on my wish list!

It seems inevitable at this point!

I will get unemployment in a few more weeks. I've already signed up and been approved.

Redid the electrical on the 4R. As much as I enjoyed my RTMR build on my truck... this Switchpro is suuuuuper easy and clean.

Looks good! I love the ease and simplicity of the switchpros. Why did you decide to ground on the battery and not the same ground spot to the chassis as the battery?

The chassis ground is a flat surface so running multiple large crimp lug terminals gets messy. I had plenty of 4 gauge so I used it.

Did more stuff today. Made a wiring harness for everything being powered in the rear of the 4R; reverse light pods in the bumper, flood light on the swing out, OBA, and OBW.

    20190202_100035.jpg

Ran the wires and did some chopping underneath to make room for an air tank and a water tank. The 4Rs have boxed frame crossovers on either side of the stock spare tire crossover, so I got rid of that now useless chunk of metal. So much more room for activities.

    20190202_132620.jpg 20190202_132700.jpg

Rear lights installed. For now the wiring for the compressor and water pump will stay stashed above the frame until I have time to get to those projects.

    20190202_132223.jpg

Then I put the front light bar in. What a pain in the ass with the winch in there... but it's done and works well. #lightsbeforelockers

What goes on the left side swingout and the holes above the hitch?

Swing out will hold a hi-lift and rotopax, holes above the hitch are for mounting the bumper to the frame. I may try to find some rubber or plastic plugs to fill them. The license plate can go over them too, but it's out of harm's way on the swing out.

OBA is mostly done. The tank and compressor are operational, just need to plumb an air line somewhere to some quick connects on the bumpers. For now air can be used at the quick connect near the compressor on the line going to the tank.

Is the power switch for the OBA going to be with it or run to the switch pros?

The relay box/pressure switch that is attached to the tank has a trigger wire that I ran to the Switchpro. The power for the relay box is ran to the blue sea fuse block on the powertray, and the compressor power runs to the relay box on the tank. I really like this setup... way better than my ARB twin, but I don't have an air tank plumbed yet on the truck. This kit was 350 or so I think compared to my twin that cost 450 on a group buy for just the compressor. Granted the twin is faster, the Viair is no slouch.

Cool. I've been debating running my arb twin to the switch pro but if I do it will take up the 7 and 8 spots. Not sure I want to use 2 spots for it even though I currently have the room to do it.

Why do you need 2 spots? Do you have an aux fuse panel too? My twin is wired straight to my aux battery and the switch in the cab triggers the ARB built in relay. You could hace a similar setup or wire the compressor to an aux fuse box.
