I figured since we usually are one of the first ones to arrive - that gives us time to get set up at camp and then I can head over and do my time! I might sign up for more slots - haven't decided yet.

I wanted to do Thursday but figured in case something gets slowed up on our end I don't want them hurting for help. It's been a lot of fun in the office the last few years.

I kept considering (and still am) signing up for Friday morning...but my fear is that I'll be too hung over and miserable. Also - FOMO in case it's actually nice weather and people are hitting the trails. What to do....what to do...

Your already doing better than me. I volunteered for nothing since I'm hoping the weather turns out good enough to have my pups with me without them getting completely covered in mud. I cant handle them and volunteering. Blaze has made me give in and sign up for training. I've struggled getting him trained and want to get Teq even better. We start in a few weeks so hopefully the little one will be a little easier to manage by Jambo! I dont expect huge improvement though since we will only have had a maybe 3 training sessions by jambo.

Taking care of some less than ideal powder coating and fixing the seized pull-locks. This humidity is a bitch, y'all. This bumper ain't that old.

In that last pic do I see a groove put in the ramp from the pull lock? I've already bent one and had to sand my ramp down. I need to figure a way to make it stop digging into the ramp before I bend another pull lock.

I used the combo of a flap disk and a sanding block to remove all of the rust from the pull lock and rounded off the edges of the pin to help mitigate that problem. The paint/PC will wear away there no matter what, but I think this will help slow it a bit. I don't have a before picture, but the pin had a minuscule chamfer on the edge before I went to work on it. (Not sure if it comes across much in the pic, but the pin now has a blue hue to it from the rust inhibitor I used on it after sanding)

@SuperBad yours dual or single swing out? @MellyMel had a fold-down camp table shipped with her new front skid, but they send the signal swing out version instead of the dual.

That reminds me... need to swap her skids and do oil changes on both rigs... always a list!

I know the original chamfer well from mine. Looks like a good amount of rounding done! I've been meaning to do that to mine. I also have a spare that I carry in the truck after busting my 1st one on the first few days of a trip. Maybe I'll remember to pull it off and round it a bunch later this week when I'm doing other work with the grinding disc and finishing wheels.
Mines a single with the camp table. I might cut it up and make it a dual sometime. :anonymous: I love the swing out but dont love the single, its too heavy fully loaded and needs to much room to open. I get the projects. I'me about to need to do an oil and diff/transfer case change. My project list hasnt shortened any and I'm currently in the middle of a pretty big project thats going to take some hours to complete.

I hear ya on the single swing out blues. Mine sucks ass. Too much weight bouncing around off road has really jacked it up over time. I should have gone duals but at the time I thought it'd be a pain in the ass to open two arms at once. The 4R is cake to open, mine I gotta stretch first

I had the same thoughts. It was also a cost thing when I ordered and I wanted to save the 3-400 by going single. Regret it now in hindsight. Mine seems to do ok bouncing around since its got a really strong attachment on that end but I do have to lift it an inch or so to get it on its platform. 2 5 gal jugs of liquid and the spare are heavy!

Yeah I'm a fan of the CBI swing out style. Mine was great until I decided to drive too damn fast and load up too much weight.

What are the dimensions of your spare fold down table?

It definitely wasn't free! I still gotta pay for stuff. I emailed them - we will see what they say.

They are sending me the correct one and a label to send the "spare" one back.
