Triple ball trailor hitch

2011 DCLB 4.0 tow pkg 4x4

Is the triple ball trailor hitch any better compared to a standard bolt on ball hitch? The big things that i can see that the triple ball hitch is straight making what ever you towing 2" inches higher and on the 2" inch ball it is about 2-3" inches shorter coming out of the truck hitch.
