Trouble typing responses.

I'm guessing this is an issue with my computer, but I'm wondering if others experience this. When I quote someone and then type a response my cursor likes to do weird things, mostly either jumping backward to the beginning of the previous word, or all the way back to the beginning of the quote. Using the delete or backspace key also can send the cursor jumping around.

It never seems to do this if I am starting a thread or post without quoting. It didn't do it at all while typing this?

Really sucks trying to make trolly quips quickly if I have to struggle 5 minutes trying to type in while my cursor fights me the whole time.

 

Android? What machine? My Galaxy S5 has learned this behavior it seems just recently. I've nearly thrown it out the window on several occasions.
