More background about the accident, she tagged me at about 30 when I was about stopped. I'm getting an insurance adjustor to look at it on Monday or Tuesday. Then I'll take it in.

Until then, THIS hilarious pile is what I'm rollin in!

Sure there were other options, but none that would make me laugh the entire time while in them :D

Just got it looked at by the Insurance Adjustor, he wrote me a check for 1900 :D There's my lift! I'll be doing the bumper build in the next few days as well.

I'll upload my design later. Going to pick up my rear bumper mounting brackets right now, and some steel.

Gotta get the frame checked at a local shop- earliest I can have that done is Monday, so waiting for that to happen, then I'll pull the trigger on the lift (if I don't have to spend that money on the frame) I think the paint chip and dent add character- and I can fix the chip with a paint repair kit.

    STOOKED!

PUMPED! Just got my truck back, and looking to pull the trigger on my lift within a day or two! Nothing was really wrong with it, except bumper brackets and bumper, dent in cab and chip of paint. It pays to have good insurance, they are basically paying for my lift.

    BOOYA

Got the bumper on my truck for now, gotta get the receiver that'll be my DD licence plate holder- but I've got my D ring receiver already.

I found a sweet locking pin for the receivers at Harbor Freight.

Obviously still have to prime it and bedline it- but going to also put sliders that go around the sides, that tie into the frame under the bed.

But, check out what I've been up to!

Thanks man! It will definitely have some wrap arounds similar to his, mine will be square 1.5" steel though. Going straight out, then 45, then perpendicular to the bed. Cutting it up and fitting it tmrw, so will take some photos along the way. Hoping to have all of that figured out tmrw, and move to LBC, CA on sunday :D

I've thought about painting it white, but to tie in with my sliders and fender flares, I'm going to bedline it black.

Bumper is so close to being done! All I have to do is make the part where the sliders tie into the frame under the bed.

No pics today. But hoping to finish it and get it all painted and mounted tomorrow, leaving for LBC Monday.

Pics will come tomorrow when I finish it :spy:

For sure! But..you know they can climb right? jk. Bummer you just got rid of yours.

When will you be doing that run? I'm planning a huge expedition, going through Nor Cal, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona, then back to Long Beach. It'd be cool if we could meet up somewhere.

For sure, we'll talk as it gets closer. I've yet to plan mine, but I know where I'd like to go so far.

Thanks! I look up to your truck in every way, so that means a lot, and I hope you aren't mad I made a similar bumper

Had the shop finish it, but it was on my truck- so they couldn't weld the slider to frame mounts on all four connecting points- the inside isn't welded- making a weak point  Also need to gusset the frame mounts from the bumper- so I'd say it's not completely done, but for now- I guess it is

Got the bumper all mounted up (I'll shoot better pics when it's light tmrw):

Also tinted my front windows and the got my windshield strip:

Wired up my removable license plate led last night, in preparation for my voyage to Long Beach.

Loaded up once, to realize I had way too much weight for my stock suspension... Leafs looked way sketchy. I felt like my leafs and shocks would bust if I hit any sort of bump or dip.
    I was bro leanin

Lightened the load quite a bit:

Every piece of OME suspension is arriving tmrw (besides leafs) :woot:

They said 4" unloaded, then with 400-500lbs they'd be at 3".

Too much?? I'm alright with rake, but is it ridiculous?
