I couldn't adjust them worth a darn while they were installed. I ended up pulling them back out and tightening up the adjustment screw that way and reinstalling them. It was/easier to loosen up the screw to lower the beam than tightening it when installed.

I would just advise anyone installing these to NOT reinstall the darn plastic cover pieces on the bumper until you have them fully adjusted. Removing this piece I thought was the trickiest part.

The hardest part about the install is figuring out how to pull the plastic piece off on front of the bumper. I did it from coming in from the top of the vehicle. There is only one small Phillips screw holding the light in and that was pretty easy to take off. Then you have to push on some tabs on the small foglight bumper cover and I pulled it at the same time to pull that piece off so the light could come out through the front. As I said above this was the hardest part of the install everything else was plug and play.

I also had to tighten the screw to get the light up to where it was beneficial to me stock setting was just way to low and didn't light up any of the road.

There are videos on youtube but they went in through the bottom which I didn't do. I'm sure someone has a write up on them someplace. Good luck I dont' think you will be disappointed

**edited** The other thing that you have to do is orient the wire and the plug. The plug is NOT attached to the light so you need to determine which way it'll go. Do this by plugging the 'ends' of the light into the factory harness prior to putting the plug onto the light. (will make sense later) If I recall the white wire on the truck is usually the ground so that will be hooked up to the 'black' wire on the lights. (once again plug it in to make sure it'll come on prior to putting the 'plug' onto the light)

    Thanks again!

    Found a thread about installation

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/morimoto-xb-led-fogs-12-14-install.333657/

Could you verify if those process is about the same, if not, which part is different with third gen?

    Any comments is appreciated

also, having a picture of how those screws were setup, would be helpful too...!!

    Tony,

Did you have to remove any screws on the underside of the bumper. I think its called the air dam.
Or were you able to access everything through the wheel well?

    thanks,
    DC

    Not really DC....

The first side was hard, when you working on the second side. Much easier!!

Because you would just pry off the plastic enough to get your arms to work (getting one screw on) and fog lights out.

    Tony,

Did you ever figure out that second light reflection issue? Could it possibly be an aiming thing?

I haven't gotten the change to install mine yet.

I have not....i mean, i don't even see it from the cockpit, so, out of sight, out of mind?

my FL aimed was spot on after adjustment (YES! needs to adjust them), so, I'm thinking might be just a default reflection by design. I do hope OP still follow up on this post...

Installed my XB LED's and some Elite HID's in my low beams (50W 6500k).

Install was a piece of cake. The Laminx wasn't super easy to do, but came out decent. Light output is great and much improved even over the Toyota TRD Off Road fogs.

Before (low and fogs - forgot to take fog only pic):

The pic above looks a little more white than normal due to late dusk lighting as opposed to pitch black lighting in later install pics.

Get in on this deal while you can. Great product from TRS!! @TRSAndrew

Could be the nature of the LED Projector. I noticed some sort of reflection similar in another photo I took (look for the yellow reflection on the pavement in front of my truck):

If it wasn't pouring rain here in Ohio right now I would go out and turn them on and take another picture without the headlights on.

When I installed mine I think mine were just like yours. The passenger side foglight was WORTHLESS. I had to really crank down (tighten) on the adjustment screw to get them 'up' just below my headlights. I had to make more than just one or two turns to get them up where I liked them.
