Nope, no one has ever had this problem. What are you looking for in this thread? Advice on how to fix it yourself or maybe someone that can talk to the dealer for you? Honestly if I were you in that situation I would demand a buy back at full value and an upgrade to a 2018 PRO for no extra charge. What you are going through is absolutely preposterous!

I agree. 2ND Gen owners will always Troll the 3rd gen forums. Funny thing, if you say anything hurtful to the 2nd gen folks, you will be banned for a month... Learned that the hard way. hahaha.

Took the truck back to the dealer today - technician drove it 1/4 mile and immediately identified it as warped rear drums. They replaced the drums and pads and now it's smooth as silk.

Another forum recommendation is to jack up your truck and loosen then hand torque your lugs. Mine were all WAY over spec - likely due to a massive impact driver that was set high.

But glad you got it worked out. I had the same with my rear driver's side drum which was replaced by the dealer.

A lot of folks are suffering needlessly do to this.
I highly recommend doing the list on the 5k service yourself with a torque wrench or find a reputable professional to do it for as soon as you get it home and be done.

    Cheers!

I had that. They try to explain it away as the brake accumulator filling up and saying "it's normal".

It's not normal for you to feel it that badly. They replaced my entire brake assembly and fixed it. Every once in a while I'll feel a slightly sensation, but I was getting it on almost every other press. Almost felt like a cellphone buzzing.

Hope they sort you out. Don't take no for an answer.

Also, you can cause it to happen by pumping the brakes. On the 3rd pump you should feel it. With my new assembly I have to pump a lot more to feel it.

Washing Machines,Refrigerators ,HVAC Units and many other "Durable Goods" don't last like they used to.

Moving the entire U.S manufacturing base to slave labor wage Communist China and NAFTA was the beginning of the end for durable quality products that would last for many years problem free.

Ross Perot told you this would happen during the 1992 debates.Nobody listened and now we are all paying dearly as "consumers".

IIRC nafta has more to do with agriculture than it does electronic hard goods, and we all reap those benefits even those who appose nafta due to political beliefs.

nafta has a bad rap because people do not fully grasp what it is, or so I believe.

I totally agree with you on the fact the quality of our appliances and general electronics has greatly suffered due to out sourcing...

though oddly enough our Japan brand cars had been better produced in Japan than they are now being fabricated in the USA & Mexico

I'm just glad the dealer recognizes there is a problem and is getting the factory involved. It was common a year ago that they would just blow this stuff off. So I see it as progress. Now just see how long it takes to actually fix it. Make sure you test drive it if you can before you sign off on the repair.
