I`am looking at putting a truck box on my 03 Tacoma Extra cab for a bit more lockable storage. Found a few in my area, are they all made out of aluminum? The ones I looked at seemed very light not much thicker than a beer can. Have always had a cap on my trucks and was just looking into a box this time. Thanks for any input.

It depends just what your looking for.

Quit a few job boxes will fit your needs then it comes to your budget

Seems everyone sells them from plastic to steel comes down to what you want

Just looking for a box that is not paper thin. Looked at Kobalt not very good. Looking at Husky now.

I have a Rigid box looks just like this one but for color

Might some minor difference but close enough.

It all depends what the OP wants custom built is always a option if nothing seems to meet what you want.

Thanks guys, just pick up a used Husky in great shape, new locks. I just ordered the mounting hardware. Total cost of box and hardware 85 bucks. I`am happy with it.

Yup, I found a variation of the J hook. Don`t wish to drill any holes in my 1st gen.
