OP mentioned several dogs. RTT requires ascending/descending a ladder which most dogs are not good at. It was implied he wants the dogs in the tent at night.

FWIW, Agnes Big House tents will be 25% off, REI Base Camp tents will be 30% off, and all Exped mats will be 25% off at REI during their Labor Day sale. 8/25-9/4.

Edit: I can personally recommend the Exped Megamat 10. Yes it is pricey, but it is ridiculously awesome. You can save 25% on it soon, though!

Nice trailer man. Which model did you get? How does the truck do while towing?

    This is the 177.

The truck does really well. I don't have a weight distribution hitch or sway bar. No issues towing. The only thing I make sure is I try to front load to add tongue weight.

Did not try the berries. We saw a bunch up in Alaska as well, but I wasn't really sure what they were...

I just did a rough install of my KampRite Oversized tent cot. Credits goes to WNYTACO https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-rtt-for-those-on-a-budget.478273/.

    [IMG] [IMG]IMG_20170820_144025_824.jpg 20170820_145807.jpg

I use 4 U-bolts at first to secure the both the bottom and the two bottoms legs of the cot to the voodoo bars but the screws barely fit, so I used a slightly smaller set of 4 U-bolts to secure only the legs of the cot to the voodoo bars as a precaution.

Now, I just need to find a cheap way to make an awning that will secure to the top of the tent cot and maybe either to the ground or to the tailgate for cooking to stay away from the elements.

That is a cool af picture. Very primeval, makes me want to live or go there even though I hate cold weather. Ah, this mortal coil.
