I don't trust my aim on the smaller openings of a Gatorade bottle when I'm half asleep. Big wide mouth container and I have plenty of room for error.

We passed through there last Tues/Wed. We opted to stay at the Silver lake Motel.3rd floor room with a view of the harbor.
The Hurricane was coming Thur and we wanted to skedaddle all the way across the state, to the mountains, and get home by wed nite.

pics are from this summer. Took my oldest up a day early and had some great Father son time. Also forgot to put up the awning, but that's what trucks are for amiright?

backed it right up to the door. Easiest awning setup I've ever had! Everything was right at eye level.

16 footer - no slide, but big enough for my needs. Dry weight 2750, tows well in S4 up to 75mph (generally kept to 65, hit 75 a few times downhill) but definitely works the truck going up steep grades in the mountains.

I agree. I wish I had known when I ordered the MX with Walk In door.
I would sell mine and get this.

    You did a great job.

From Cedar Lake, OK in the Ouachita NF this last week with my wife and little boy.
I really, really wanted to do dispersed camping over in the Arkansas part of the NF, but the weather wasn't going to cooperate with the remnants of Sergio passing through.
It rained quite a bit, but the hiking was good.

    Cheers

Not the most glorious shot of the truck. We were tent camping and lucked into a perfect spot late into Labor Day wknd.

What was behind the truck was more impressive.

You and me both... so I took Friday off and I'm headed out! Life's too short. My favorite lake is in the high 70s this weekend. Probably the last warm trip of the season for me.

It's not a platform, it's a roof top tent. It's securely mounted to the truck and not going anywhere. Super fast set up and tear sown and up away from flood waters, critters and the fold wet ground
