Truck Cap Question

i have a buddy who has an older truck cap that used to be on his gen 1 tacoma that just sits in his yard these days. It fits a 6ft bed and his current tacoma has the 5 ft bed.

now, would this cap fit my gen 2 6ft bed tacoma? he's a few hours away from me so i can't just go and see for myself easily. anyone know if this would fit? and can i get the clamps to use with the bed rail system just at a lowes or something?

No - the bed dimensions are different between the generations.
