What websites does everyone use for oem and aftermarket parts? Anyone use one that you can put your vin number into to make sure the parts fit or even one with all the sub models to choose from, never sure if I’m buying to right parts for my prerunner. every site and parts house just assumes it’s a regular 4 cyl even after I tell them it’s a prerunner, had to buy wheel bearings 3 times because they kept telling me I needed the wrong ones

I just buy parts from the local Toyota dealer's website most of the time, which offers a pretty nice discount against the retail price (for me, parts.earnhardttoyota.com). The dealer website does have a place for VIN so the parts can be verified by the parts department before they complete the order.

For aftermarket parts you can go to RockAuto.com, I've had good luck with the stuff I've bought there, but they don't always have "the best" part for the category, so shopping around is worth the effort. Some websites offer specialty/custom gear, like LCE or Marlin Crawler. Stick around and you'll see people mention projects they're working on that will give you an idea.

Partsouq.com is a great site for finding the right part numbers for your truck based on its VIN
