    Hi everyone.
New member here, I just bought my TRD Sport for about 2 months, this is my first time buying a truck and a Toyota after 9 years of driving a lexus GS430. I like it so far, though it’s not as fast as expected. But there’s a problem that bothers me, it seems like my alignment is off even though I have never done anything bad to it. I park in the garage, no street parking so far, when driving it on straight roads it tends to go to the right I have to keep the steering wheels to the left a little to make the truck go straight.
I am just wondering if anyone has experience the same issue?
My friend bought a new Camry and has the same driving issue, he has to keep the steering to the left to make his car go straight. Is this the typical Toyota problem if anyone ever heard?

Also, any suggestions needed to be done/installed to the steering since it feels so light when driving?
    Much appreciated.

I have read that newer cars do this.....to prevent you from drifting into oncoming traffic. as long as it doesn't pull you to the right. it's ok if it slowly drifts.

Good looking truck, welcome to TW!

Take her in to the dealer and tell them whats going on. Take your sales guy or a service guy on a drive and show him the problem. Your truck is 2 months old, get it taken care of man, no sense in being unhappy with your new purchase.

Or you could keep it how it is and think of it as a little forearm workout on your daily commute

    Thank you for the response,
Do you remember where you read this? If I keep the wheel straight it will go to the right lane.

Nice looking truck, the PRO grill looks awesome with the black.

As far as the steering, maybe you just need an alignment? I've had multiple Toyotas (12 or so) and have never had one pull left or right as a "normal" driving condition.

Easy fix... stop by the dealer, ask for an alignment. If they don't cover it, pay for it. Done & done.

Longo Toyota is still there in El Monte huh? I remember looking at a new 1979 Corrolla when I lived in Victorville.

It’s aligned to the crown of the road.

I meant 1978 Corrolla. I ended up buying a 1978 Mustang. Boy was that a mistake.

Longo is the highest volume Toyota dealership in the world... Well at least that's what the salesman told me. The dealership is like a college campus now.

As said above, it could be the crown of the road. Does it change to a left hand pull if you get on the left side of the road? Like in the far left passing lane?

    Otherwise, get the alignment checked.

Take it to the dealer. The first alignment is free for 12 mo / 12k miles.

I had to have my '17 TRD OR aligned in the first thousand miles.

Take it back to Longo mate. Purchased my OR back in July and they have been good to me since. I’m sure they will get it taken care of. I’d recommend making an appointment with service beforehand so you don’t spend the whole day at the dealer (unless you don’t mind of course).

    Well you read wrong.

To the OP. Before you pay for an alignment do the following. 1) check your tire pressures 2) swap the front tires from side to side 3) get a wheel alignment.

Swapping thw front tires side to side usually solves a pull.

As others have said, roads are crowned for runoff.
Most dealers have a hunter that will check the alignment right in the driveway. I'm sure longo probably has one.
Swing by and ask them to check it, just make sure you have a Starbucks gift card on hand for the service advisor for wasting his time when it's fine.
